These are all top of mind as LP enters the height of our planning season. We’re reaching out to alumni for input and working to build infrastructure that will enable a more robust alumni connections. Enlisting the expertise of fellow alumni and incorporating their feedback is not only a solid leadership practice, but it keeps LP on a trajectory of growth and improvement. 

Here’s how LP alumni are contributing to make LP stronger and expand our community impact:

• Merria Velasco, Development Director of Friends in Deed, built an LP database and dispensed insights on building engagement. 
• Sara Goldman, Stella Clingmon, and Sydney Garstang met to go over session details for the 2024 class, offering suggestions for improvement.
• Cindy Bengston shared history about LP’s outreach efforts to help hone our recruitment objectives.
• Karen Burgess, NC Inguanzo, and Portia Harris discussed LP strategic plans and goals for the upcoming year.
