Our Mission |
Leadership Pasadena develops collaborative, forward-thinking leaders who embrace diverse perspectives and build resilient, equitable communities and organizations. |
Communities are made up of people and are made stronger through relationships. We are focused on individual growth — nurturing the leadership potential and deepening the community knowledge of every person within our community so they are well equipped to lead within their organizations and networks when they graduate from our program.
As our alumni network grows, so too does the collaboration and solution-finding to challenges that face us as community members and organization leaders. Over 470 people have graduated from the Leadership Pasadena program and have used their experience to serve on the boards of NGOs, major business and educational organizations and civic groups as well as to further their own careers and improve their organizations.
Leadership Pasadena’s impact can also be seen in the legacy of community service projects that have been created through our programs. From developing PasadenaHelp.org with Fuller Seminary and the Junior League of Pasadena, to examining ways to improve Community-to-Commission engagement, to providing solar energy at the Harambee Center, to creating a financial literacy resource guide for teens and families, Leadership Pasadena improves the community in many tangible ways.
