Our core program consists of a cohort of 20-24 community leaders from diverse industries and interests across San Gabriel Valley who spend 6-months together in a Pasadena "deep dive" learning about themselves and their community. Participants learn from experts in local government, business, arts, innovation & tech, history, regional economics and more. They also enhance their leadership skills through a state-of-the-art leadership training curriculum and complete a community impact project within small groups.

Homegrown Leaders (18-24)
We want to keep local youth living and working in the community they grew up in — with the belief that retaining talent builds leadership capacity and stability, allowing the next generation of leaders to be homegrown.
This program is intended to support our youth through the transition from high-school and college into employment. Its outcome goals include:

- Learning to effectively navigate larger systems and the private sector + Understanding longer-term opportunities within them
- Increased confidence with, and comprehension of, core leadership concepts, including soft skills & personal leadership strengths
- Increased visibility as prospective employee to local organizations & municipal government via completion certificate
- Engagement with community issues and community partners
- Opportunities to build internships, mentorship, & employment
Veterans

Leadership Pasadena is committed to re-missioning our veterans as leaders through community leadership. We offer three (3) 100% scholarship to military veterans to our 6-month program. Integrating veterans into our cohort of community leaders allows them to expand their personal and professional networks beyond military affairs. Customized Team Training For Pasadena Organizations

Leadership Pasadena offers in-house training for civic, governmental and non-profit staff members and key volunteer leaders to increase their understanding of all sectors of the Pasadena community to improve their leadership effectiveness. Our training is unique as it is lead by Pasadena community experts who know how to lead Pasadena organizations, appreciate Pasadena's diversity and understand the city's governmental structure and city's culture.
We are also versed in the management and motivation of volunteers. We are long time residents and love the Pasadena community. And, as we are a non-profit organization, our assistance to your organization is extremely cost effective. |
