Community Leadership Development Program
Since 1999, Leadership Pasadena (LP) has produced empowered, inspired and connected leaders who strengthen greater Pasadena’s diverse communities through their engagement and leadership across all sectors of the greater Pasadena community.
LP brings the various segments of our community together to create informed, motivated and collaborative community leaders to make a positive impact in our community and take to their leadership skills to the next level at home, at work and in the community.
Leadership Pasadena participants do a "deep dive" into all aspects of Pasadena life--learning about local government, business, arts, science, history, regional economics and more. They discuss and debate issues with the Pasadena's top leaders. They enhance their leadership skills through neuro-science based leadership training and completion of a community service project for Pasadena.
Individuals make powerful connections and develop key skills for business and community success. Individuals new to Pasadena obtain an in-depth understanding of the community that would normally take years to acquire. Long-time residents deepen and broaden their understanding of Pasadena and benefit from access to community leaders. Retirees seeking the opportunity to re-engage in the community can quick-start their volunteer career.
