LP Members Participate in Statewide Health Care Forum

On Saturday, August 11th, over three thousand Californians in eight cities connected by satellite and Internet throughout the state participated in California Speaks, a forum on health care. In the Los Angeles venue, headquarters for the event, Governor Schwarzenegger and leaders of the state legislature introduced the proceedings and extended a welcome for the findings.

Among the facilitators, leading the discussions at each of the hundreds of tables, and the Theme Team members, analyzing the data and compiling bullet points for all to vote upon, were several members of Leadership Pasadena, as pictured above.

Once again, LP members demonstrate their commitment to improving lives in the community -- in this case, a vital issue affecting every one of us.
