Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse Pasadena hosted a private reception Tuesday night for Pasadena area leaders at a Leadership Pasadena event which saw several major announcements.

Leadership Pasadena (LP) has appointed Seta Khajarian, ED. D, to LP’s Advisory Board to provide expert guidance on LP’s leadership development course curriculum.
Khajarian received her Educational Doctorate in Organizational Leadership Program from Pepperdine University and her MBA from Woodbury University. Seta teaches a variety of courses in the graduate and undergraduate Organizational Leadership program at Woodbury University. Her teaching focuses on making theories and practice meaningful to students and applying them to their current and future jobs. Her research interests are organizational change, global leadership, and innovation and leadership issues, with her focus on the effectiveness of leadership development, coaching and mentoring.
“Seta brings deep knowledge of effective organizational leadership training with expertise in servant leadership. Exactly what Leadership Pasadena delivers to the community and we are thrilled to have someone of her educational acumen working with us,” according to Board of Directors member Cynthia Bengtson.
Professor Khajarian has worked in K-18 educational institutions for over 20 years as teacher, department chair, student club advisor, college counselor, university instructor, school-wide administrator, project manager, and as a federal categorical funds liaison. She is also an independent educational consultant working with private schools in the greater Los Angeles area.
Khajarian is also an active volunteer for the community, serving on the Scholarship Committee at Ararat in Glendale, on the Organizing Committee for the HMNT Western Regional Athletic games and was the Scholarship Chair of the Armenian Professional Society for 7 terms. Seta, along with few others, is currently founding a new Armenian Relief Society chapter.
In her spare time, Seta enjoys travel, arts & culture, movies, and Greek dancing.
